ORS 420A.021
Authority of Oregon Youth Authority to require fingerprints

For the purpose of requesting a state or nationwide criminal records check under ORS 181A.195 (Criminal records check), the Oregon Youth Authority may require the fingerprints of a person who:

(1)

Is employed or applying for employment by the youth authority;

(2)

Provides services or seeks to provide services to the youth authority as a contractor, vendor or volunteer; or

(3)

Is an applicant to operate an adjudicated youth foster home, as defined in ORS 420.888 (Definitions for ORS 420.888 to 420.892), or who is an adult member of the applicant’s household as defined by rule. [2005 c.730 §61; 2009 c.207 §1; 2021 c.489 §138]
