Equipment Control: Utilization Records

Each licensee or registrant must be maintained in accordance with 333-100-0057 (Maintenance of Records) showing the following information for each source of radiation:

(1)

Make, model number and a serial number or a description of each source of radiation used. In the case of unsealed licensed material used for subsurface tracer studies, the radionuclide and quantity of activity used in a particular well and the disposition of any unused tracer materials;

(2)

The identity of the well-logging supervisor or field unit to whom assigned;

(3)

Locations where used and dates of use; and

(4)

In the case of tracer material and radioactive markers, the utilization record must indicate the radionuclide and activity used in a particular well.
