Management Staff Qualifications


Each Program must be directed by a person with the following qualifications at the time of hire:

(1)

For an individual recovering from a substance-use disorder, continuous sobriety for the immediate past two years.

(2)

Education and/or work experience as follows:

(a)

Five years of paid full-time experience in the field of substance use disorders, with at least one year in a paid administrative capacity; or

(b)

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and four years of paid full-time experience with at least one year in a paid administrative capacity; or

(c)

A Master’s degree in a relevant field and three years of paid full-time experience with at least one year in a paid administrative capacity.

(3)

Knowledge and experience demonstrating competence in planning and budgeting, fiscal management, supervision, personnel management, employee performance assessment, data collection, and reporting.
