Bread Labeling at Retail


Bread made and sold in a retail bakery is exempt from the requirement for full and complete ingredient labeling provided:

(1)

The bread is not displayed along side of or in competition with bread that is fully and completely labeled.

(2)

The ingredients in each bread are available upon request by the consumer in a card file or other method approved by the Department. All other labeling requirements are applicable.
