Definitions


As used in OAR chapter 847:
(1) “Licensee” means an individual holding a valid license issued by the Board.
(2) “Physician” means a person who holds a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent, or a person who holds a degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine if in the context in which the term “physician” is used does not authorize or require the person to practice outside the scope of a license issued under ORS 677.805 (“Ankle” defined for ORS 677.805 to 677.840) to 677.840 (Fees).
