When sign abandoned

Any sign that does not have a message on the display surface for a period of six months is deemed to have been abandoned by the owner and is a noncomplying sign subject to removal by the Director of Transportation under the procedure set forth in ORS 377.775 (Removal procedure for noncomplying signs).
