Notifications: Reciprocity
(1)
All reciprocal recognition of licenses and registrations by the Authority will be granted in accordance with OAR 333-102-0340 (Special Requirement for a Specific License to Manufacture, Assemble, Repair or Distribute Commodities, Products or Devices Which Contain Radioactive Material: Reciprocal Recognition of Licenses).(2)
Reciprocal recognition by the Authority of an individual radiographer certification will be granted provided that:(a)
The individual holds a valid certification in the appropriate category issued by a certifying entity, as defined in 333-105-0005 (Definitions);(b)
The requirements and procedures of the certifying entity issuing the certification affords the same or comparable certification standards as those afforded by 333-105-0530 (Radiation Safety Requirements: Training)(1);(c)
The applicant presents the certification to the Authority prior to entry into the state; and(d)
No escalated enforcement action is pending with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission or in any other state.(3)
Certified individuals who are granted reciprocity by the Authority must maintain the certification upon which the reciprocal recognition was granted, or prior to the expiration of such certification, must meet the requirements of 333-105-0530 (Radiation Safety Requirements: Training)(1).
