Definitions for Freeway Median Crossovers


(1)

“Freeway” means a fully access controlled throughway.

(2)

“Median” means the space between inside shoulders of the separated one-way roadways of a freeway.

(3)

“Crossover” means a surfaced roadway crossing the median and located generally at right angles to, between and connecting the inside or median shoulders of the separate through roadways of a freeway.
