ORS 184.626
Bond of director


The Director of Transportation shall furnish a fidelity bond executed by a company duly licensed to transact the business of surety within this state, in such penal sum, not less than $200,000, as the Oregon Transportation Commission shall determine. The bond shall be conditioned for the faithful discharge by the director of the duties of office, for the faithful performance by all persons employed by the director of their duties and trusts therein and for the transfer and delivery to the director’s successor in office, or to any other person authorized by law to receive the same, of all moneys, books, papers, records and other articles and effects belonging to the office. The premium for the bond shall be paid out of highway funds. [Formerly 366.150]
