Employer to pay supervision costs for certain behavioral health care providers


A public or private entity that employs mental health care providers who supervise associates, interns or other individuals who must have supervised clinical experience as a condition of licensure as a mental health care provider shall pay all costs incurred by the supervisor in providing supervision and the costs of the individual receiving supervision if the supervisor is:

(1)

A licensed psychologist, as defined in ORS 675.010 (Definitions for ORS 675);

(2)

A clinical social worker licensed under ORS 675.530 (License);

(3)

A master’s social worker licensed under ORS 675.533 (Licensure for practice of master’s social work);

(4)

A licensed marriage and family therapist, as defined in ORS 675.705 (Definitions for ORS 675); or

(5)

A licensed professional counselor, as defined in ORS 675.705 (Definitions for ORS 675). [2021 c.677 §6]
