Except as provided in ORS 255.400 (Definitions for ORS 255.400 to 255.424) to 255.424 (Notice requirements to bring action):

(1)

The term of office of director is four years.

(2)

No person shall be eligible to serve as director unless the person is an elector of the district and has resided therein for the period of one year immediately preceding the election or appointment.

(3)

No director shall receive any compensation for services as director other than reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses actually incurred on school business. [1975 c.770 §13; 1983 c.350 §168a; 1983 c.379 §6; 2019 c.449 §30]
