(1)

Nothing contained in ORS 9.505 (Payment for referring claims resulting from personal injury or death) shall prevent referral of claims, suits or actions between attorneys.

(2)

The provisions of ORS 9.505 (Payment for referring claims resulting from personal injury or death) shall not prohibit the referral of claims, suits or actions between attorneys or the dividing of fees for legal services with another lawyer consistent with the rules of professional conduct adopted pursuant to ORS 9.490 (Formulation of rules of professional conduct).
