Nothing in ORS 455.455 (Building inspection and plan review) to 455.477 (Requirement for suit filed by licensed specialty code inspector or plan reviewer) and 455.897 (Criminal penalties) and section 10, chapter 1045, Oregon Laws 1999, applies to special inspections as described in each specialty code as adopted by the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services. [1999 c.1045 §27]

Note: 455.479 (Application to specialty inspections identified by department) and 455.481 (Application to inspection and plan review for prefabricated structures) were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 455 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
