Notwithstanding ORS 447.020 (Plumbing to conform to state building code), 455.715 (Definitions for ORS 455) to 455.740 (Denial of certificate), 479.810 (Administration and enforcement) (3) or 479.855 (City and county inspection and enforcement programs), the Department of Consumer and Business Services shall adopt education, training and examination requirements that allow certification of inspectors to perform inspections on one and two family dwellings under one or more aspects of the Low-Rise Residential Dwelling Code adopted under ORS 455.610 (Low-Rise Residential Dwelling Code) to 455.630 (Enforcement). Note: 455.622 (Certification of inspectors) was added to and made a part of ORS chapter 455 by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
